The National Economics Challenge
is an exciting contest for high school students to test their economics knowledge. Students work individually and in teams to answer questions related to micro-, macro-, and international economics and current events.

Euro Challenge is an educational program and competition that teaches 9th and 10th grade students about the European Union, launched in the fall of 2009.
Fed Challenge
The Fed Challenge Competition promotes economic
literacy by asking students to analyze economic conditions
and recommend an appropriate course for monetary policy.
The competition encourages the development of important
skills such as: research and analysis; decision-making;
argument formulation; and effective communication. Colleges and community colleges can compete. The Boston Fed does not compete in the High School Fed Challenge at this time.

The International Economic Summit is an economics- focused global education program that provides secondary teachers with a comprehensive instructional tool for infusing economic concepts into existing courses. There are three required components to the International Economic Summit and one voluntary. First is the required boot camp held at the Bank during the summer. The second is the ten-unit curriculum that needs to be covered. Third is the mini summit (school or classroom-based trade simulation) to be held as the culminating event. The fourth and voluntary component is the mega summit, a multi school trade simulation typically held at a local university.

LifeSmarts,
“the ultimate consumer challenge,” is an educational competition that builds the consumer and marketplace knowledge and skills of teenagers. The competition focuses on four key areas: technology and the environment, personal finance, consumer rights and responsibilities, and health and safety.
Massachusetts School Bank Association (MSBA) Conference and Competition
This conference is a competition where partnering banks and schools come to compete on topics such as identity theft, the Federal Reserve System, credit, and many other topics.
