Biography
Abadur supports the Expanding Employment Opportunities focal area of the Boston Fed’s Regional & Community Outreach department, which focuses on increasing the quality of jobs in the New England Region. The goals of the initiative are to inform policy, engage businesses, galvanize the investment community, and contribute to a new public narrative, leading to redesigning jobs in ways that enhance the working environment and are economically sustainable.
Prior to Joining the Boston Fed, Abadur served as the Economic Development Director for the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation. Abadur believes that inclusive economic development is the catalyst for equitable and sustainable growth and opportunity. He is committed to addressing the challenges of poverty and inequity through evidence-based research coupled with a spirit of entrepreneurship and experimentation.
Abadur earned a B.S. in Economics and Political Science and an M.S. in Urban and Regional Policy from Northeastern University.
