Biography
Peter joined the Boston Fed to support inclusive economic growth in partnership with local leaders in New England, with a particular focus on rural places and smaller cities. Since 2020, he has directed the Maine Working Communities Challenge, mobilizing local collaborative efforts to build strong, healthy economies in Maine’s rural landscape.
Peter started his career as a teacher and has worked to advance the causes of educational equity and access to opportunity in communities across the United States through organizing, advocacy, public service, and philanthropy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, a Master of Science for Teachers from Pace University, and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
