Biography
Victoria Ivashina is a professor in the Finance Unit at Harvard Business School and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. She also serves on the editorial boards of the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial Intermediation, and the Journal of Banking and Finance. Ivashina’s research spans multiple areas of financial intermediation, including corporate credit markets, leveraged loan markets, global banking operations, asset allocation by pension funds and insurance companies, and value creation by private equity. She holds a PhD in finance from the New York University Stern School of Business and a BA in economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
