Biography
Corey Johnson is vice president in the cash services department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. In this role, Corey provides local strategic direction and leadership for cash operations in the First District in alignment with the System’s FedCash Services Group’s strategic priorities and initiatives. Corey oversees the department as well as the design and monitoring of internal controls and security safeguards related to Cash Operations.
Corey has held positions of increasing responsibility since starting work with the Boston Fed in 1999. Most recently, Corey served as assistant vice president of cash operations and was responsible for supporting ongoing cash operations – including ensuring essential operations ran smoothly during the pandemic, the FedCash Services’ high priority objectives, and a multi-year cash space and equipment evaluation plan. Prior to this role, Corey was the assistant vice president in the invoice processing platform (IPP) group and was responsible for the group’s client services and business strategy functions.
Corey holds a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College. He also completed MIT’s Greater Boston Executive Program.
