Biography
Doug Mandel is a vice president in the Supervision, Regulation & Credit (SRC) department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and serves as the program leader of the Federal Reserve System’s LISCC Governance and Controls supervisory program. Previously, Doug served as a central point of Contact for State Street Corporation. Doug has also served as the leader of the Federal Reserve System’s Capital Assessment Process Exam Support Team during the 2011 and 2012 Comprehensive Capital Adequacy Reviews (CCAR) and served as team leader for the Pre-provision Net Revenue (PPNR) work stream during the 2009 Supervisory Capital Adequacy Process (SCAP). Prior to joining the Boston Fed in 2008, he spent 13 years with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in various supervisory roles.
Doug graduated with a degree in economics from The College of William and Mary in 1990 and received his commission as a Federal Reserve Examiner in 1999. In 2010, he received the Federal Reserve System’s William Taylor Award for Excellence in Bank Supervision.
