
Biography
Heather Honiss is an assistant vice president for the Board Delegated & Research Business Dedicated Group in National Information Technology (National IT). In her role, Heather supports the Supervision and Regulation, Statistics, and Reserves business lines across the Federal Reserve System in their use of IT products and services. She leads a business engagement team that works with business partners to understand requirements, as well as engage the appropriate teams to meet business needs with technology solutions. She also promotes key System IT strategies and influences IT business priorities at the System level.
Heather joined the Bank in 2005 as a member of the Boston Fed’s Research department. She joined the Information Technology group in 2011, and she has held positions of increasing responsibility on local and National IT teams since then. Most recently, she served as Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Services Business Dedicated Group in National IT. Heather has delivered on many key initiatives to drive the System forward, including leading a cross-functional team to enable the System’s cloud migration and playing a key role in establishing the Main Street Lending Program during the pandemic.
Heather holds a bachelor’s from Bowdoin College and completed a mini-MBA executive education program at Bentley University.
