
Biography
Jeremy Lewis is assistant vice president and FedNow audit officer responsible for assisting the general auditor in directing internal audit activities related to FedNow, overseeing risk assessment activities and audit coverage, delivering assurance and timely risk-based insights to management, and providing administrative oversight for the FedNow audit team. Jeremy serves as a liaison member on the FedNow Management Committee.
Jeremy joined the Bank in 2020 as an audit director for FedNow, responsible for the design and execution of internal audit coverage of the FedNow program. He previously worked as the director of U.S. Technology and Operations Audit at Bank of Montreal in Chicago. Jeremy also has 17 years of experience working with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in a variety of leadership roles in Internal Audit and Information Technology.
Jeremy received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Iowa State University and an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Chicago. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and scrum master.
