Julie Fallon Hughes became president and CEO of Adams Community Bank in August 2024. Fallon Hughes brings more than 25 years of expertise in multiple banking disciplines and is experienced in leading teams through significant organizational change. She has held key roles at First Indiana Bank, M&I Bank, BMO Harris Bank, Fifth Third Bank, and most recently served as the Southwest Pennsylvania and Ohio Region president at Northwest Bank. On May 1, 1869, a charter was granted to 10 local businessmen to open and operate a bank in Adams, Massachusetts. Two months later, South Adams Savings Bank was born. In 2012, South Adams Savings Bank merged with Adams Co-operative Bank to form Adams Community Bank. In 2015, Adams Community Bank acquired The Lenox National Bank to better serve the people and communities across the Berkshires. Adams Community Bank has served the area for more than 150 years and built a reputation for high-quality customer service, competitive rates, and charitable giving.
