Mike Vail became president of Hannaford Supermarkets in 2015 and is responsible for all company operations, including strategy, financial performance, product assortment, pricing, customer service, marketing, and people. In his role, Vail is on the leadership team of Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of global food retailer Ahold Delhaize, which operates the Hannaford chain. Vail has more than 30 years of retail experience after starting his career at Hannaford as a high school student in Maine.
