Panel Discussion on Policy Implications
May 31, 1996

What are the appropriate roles (if any) of employers and federal, state, and local governments in addressing the problems posed by earnings inequality? To what extent are small-scale socioeconomic experiments generalizable? How urgent is the problem and what are the prospects for action?
